01 · General education, not advice

This website provides general education and comparison information. It is not financial, insurance, investment, banking, legal, tax or accounting advice and does not consider any person's objectives, financial situation or needs.

02 · Non-guaranteed items

Participation rates, caps, floors, bonuses, dividends, fund performance, fixed-account rates and other non-guaranteed items may be reviewed or changed by insurers; bank thresholds, rates, fees and onboarding requirements may change at any time. Illustrations, back-tests and past performance are neither guarantees nor forecasts.

03 · Long-term commitment and surrender

Insurance is usually a long-term commitment. Early surrender can be costly and surrender value may be less than total premiums paid; loans, withdrawals, charges and low crediting can reduce cash value or cause a policy to lapse. Premium financing carries interest-rate and currency risk, and banks may call for additional collateral.

04 · Information transfer and your consent

Only with your express consent will Xiaopoxian pass information you choose to provide to the licensed or exempt institution named on the page and its appointed representatives. Personalised advice, official benefit illustrations, account opening and application services are the responsibility of the institution or representative actually providing them.

05 · Remuneration and potential conflicts

Xiaopoxian and its members may receive marketing, introduction, referral or sales remuneration under arrangements with partner institutions. Confirm identity, scope of service, product costs, commissions and other potential conflicts with the institution or representative serving you.

06 · Verification and cross-border advice

Before sharing sensitive information or transacting, verify institutions and representatives through the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) public registers, the Hong Kong Insurance Authority and the institutions' official channels. Cross-border clients should obtain independent advice on tax, foreign-exchange and reporting obligations in the relevant jurisdictions.

07 · Trademarks and third-party names

Insurers, banks, indices and product names mentioned are trademarks of their respective owners, used for identification and comparison only; no partnership, authorisation or endorsement is implied.

08 · Tax and reporting

This site gives no tax advice. Whether a policy is treated as life insurance where the owner is tax resident, how account growth is taxed and who is reported under CRS / FATCA depend on local law and on the owner's degree of control over the assets, and must be confirmed in advance by a tax adviser in that jurisdiction.

09 · Products and carriers

This site recommends no PPLI / VUL product or carrier. Institutions mentioned are limited to facts in public press releases or industry media; the list is incomplete and is not a recommendation. Charges, minimum premiums, eligible assets and death-benefit formulas are governed by each insurer's product summary, mandate documents and policy contract.

10 · Asset-segregation mechanisms

Singapore's PPF, Bermuda's segregated accounts and Luxembourg's triangle of security, like an insurer's licence or rating, are not a government or regulatory guarantee of policy value. Under the Luxembourg framework a unit-linked policy is guaranteed a number of units, not a value, in an insurer's liquidation, and the PPF does not cover benefits tied directly to the net asset value of underlying assets.

11 · Premium financing

Whether a PPLI policy can support premium financing depends on the insurer's terms and the lender's credit policy, which differ between institutions; check the product summary and the lender's written approval. Any separate borrowing against assets outside the policy is a private-bank credit matter.
